Corner Gas (sitcom)

If you haven't seen Corner Gas, you don't know what you're missing!

It's a comedy set in a fictional small town called Dog River in Saskatchewan, Canada. It's got a laid back prairie feel and a charming innocence that is refreshing. Fred plays the role of Hank Yarbo, best friend to Brent LeRoy, who is the owner of a gas station in the middle of nowhere. The show revolves round the antics of Brent, his parents Oscar and Emma LeRoy, his friends Hank Yarbo and Lacey Burrows, Brent's friend and employee Wanda Dollard, and two small town cops Davis Quinton and Karen Pelly.

Comedy movies starring Fred Ewanuick
Young Triffie Love and other dilemmas Delicate Art of Parking

Fred has the lead role in this movie. He plays Ranger Alan Hepditch who is sent to investigate some crimes in a small town.

The story is set against a backdrop of crime and human failings, so I wouldn't call it a light-hearted show. It's more of a dark comedy if you ask me.

Fred plays the role of Emmett Matzdorff, a bungling crook. This is show won't exactly make it as a comedy classic, but Fred's performance is good.

Fred plays the role of Grant Parker, a parking enforcement officer. This is one of the more refreshing movies and is filmed in a mockumentary format. Fred's performance is excellent!

It's not in-your-face, slap-stick funny, but it is enjoyable in an absurd satirical way.

About this site

My friends and I are huge fans of Corner Gas, which is also how we were introduced to Fred's work. I generally like wholesome light-hearted entertainment, and Corner Gas fits the bill perfectly. I'm running this site as a hobby, and believe it or not, I don't live in Canada! My Canadian relatives introduced me to the show when I was in Vancouver on a holiday, and I've been hooked ever since!
